At Blue Spruce Habitat for Humanity, we believe that safe, affordable housing changes lives — not only here in Colorado but around the world. In 2026, we’re inviting you to be part of something extraordinary: an International Build Trip to Madagascar.
From October 10–18, 2026, our team, in partnership with the Fuller Center for Housing, will travel to Antsirabe, Madagascar to volunteer on a home-building project that will directly impact local families. This is more than a trip; it’s an opportunity to connect with another community, experience a new culture, and make a tangible difference.
Why Madagascar?
Madagascar is a country of vibrant culture, breathtaking landscapes, and resilient people. Yet, many families face immense challenges when it comes to securing safe and stable housing. By volunteering in Antsirabe, you’ll join hands with local builders and homeowners to construct homes that provide more than shelter — they offer strength, security, and hope for the future.
What You’ll Experience
This trip is about much more than bricks and mortar. As a participant, you’ll:
Work side by side with families to help build their homes.
Experience local culture through food, music, and traditions.
Form meaningful connections with fellow volunteers and community members.
Grow personally as you step outside your comfort zone and into a life-changing experience.
